Last updated: October 19, 2026 · Operated by SOYLA LLC 2026-10-19
This Privacy Policy covers prontodivorce.com and the Pronto Divorce services (the "Services"), operated by SOYLA LLC. It explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices. By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
Pronto Divorce is not a law firm
Pronto Divorce provides self-help document preparation at your direction, based on the information you give us. We are not a law firm, we are not a substitute for an attorney, and we do not provide legal advice. Using the Services does not create an attorney-client relationship, and the information you share with us is not protected by attorney-client privilege. For legal advice, consult a licensed Florida attorney. Pronto Divorce is not a law firm or a paralegal as defined by the Florida Bar. The people who assist you are divorce document specialists, not attorneys or paralegals, and they do not provide legal advice or work under the supervision of an attorney.
Information we collect
Information you provide:
- Account information: your name, email address, and password.
- Case information: your answers to our questionnaire and the details needed to prepare your documents. This can include sensitive information such as your and your spouse's details, information about minor children, property and financial information, spousal support, military status, Florida residency, income range, and whether a prior or related family court case exists.
- Documents: the divorce documents we help you prepare and any files you upload.
- Payment information: processed by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
- Identity verification: if you use online notarization, you and the notarization provider collect identity and verification information, which may include an image of your government-issued ID and a recorded video session.
- Communications: messages you send to support and the preferences you set.
Information we collect automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Information from third parties: our payment processor and online notarization provider may share transaction and verification status with us.
How we use and share your information
How we use it. We use your information to provide the Services and prepare your documents, maintain your account, process payments and send receipts, facilitate online notarization when you request it, respond to support requests, measure and improve our advertising, improve and secure the Services, comply with law, and enforce our Terms of Use.
How we share it. We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, payment processing (Stripe), online notarization, analytics, advertising (including Google and Meta), and email or support tools. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Online notarization: when you choose it, the information needed to complete the notarial act is shared with the licensed notary and the notarization provider.
- Attorney referral: if you ask to speak with an attorney, or if your answers show your case may not fit self-service, we may share your contact information with a licensed Florida law firm, with your consent. Such law firms are independent and are not part of Pronto Divorce.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Pronto Divorce, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We use analytics and advertising partners, including Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (the Meta Pixel), which may collect information through cookies to help us measure usage and show ads. Depending on where you live, this may be treated as "sharing" or a "sale" for targeted advertising under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. To opt out, adjust your browser and cookie settings or email us at hello@prontodivorce.com.

Data retention. We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights and children's privacy
